Position: Sales Representative - Sprinkler Service
Company Products / Services: Our client, a full-service fire sprinkler and life safety systems company, is currently expanding their service operations and offers tremendous opportunities to service-minded individuals in the fire protection/life safety marketplace. They specialize in the installation, service and inspection of a wide variety of automatic fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm (life safety systems), kitchen suppression, extinguishers and special hazard systems throughout a particular region.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Lead and execute all sales activities for the Service Department, aligned with management objectives
Develop, implement, and manage service sales goals, plans, and procedures to drive revenue and profitability
Identify, pursue, and secure new customers to expand the service customer base
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through proactive quoting, needs anticipation, issue resolution, and technical support
Ensure all proposals, contracts, and billing-related documentation are accurate and submitted to bookkeeping in a timely manner
Monitor competitive pricing, market trends, and customer service practices to maintain competitiveness and profitability
Adhere to established sales strategies while meeting or exceeding profit and performance objectives
Deliver a high level of customer service that meets or exceeds company standards to maximize customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Preferred 5+ years working in environments related to automatic fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm and detection systems
Sales experience selling to Commercial Contractors, i.e. tenant improvements as well as larger scale projects for existing buildings
Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler service sales processes; understanding of applicable fire and life safety codes is a plus
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with demonstrated sales achievements
Proven ability to manage a sales territory independently with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused with a strong desire to succeed
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
